TorrentClaw is a search engine and metadata aggregator. It indexes publicly available torrent metadata from third-party sources across the internet. TorrentClaw does not host, store, upload, or distribute any copyrighted content, files, or media. All metadata displayed on this site — including titles, descriptions, posters, and ratings — is sourced from public APIs such as TMDB (The Movie Database) and public torrent trackers.
In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512), the designated agent for receiving notifications of claimed infringement is: TorrentClaw Email: dmca@torrentclaw.com We aim to respond to valid takedown notices within 5 business days.
If you believe that content indexed on TorrentClaw infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to the email address above containing all of the following (per 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3)): • A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner. • Identification of the copyrighted work(s) claimed to have been infringed. • Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, including the specific URL(s) on TorrentClaw where the material appears. • Your contact information: name, address, telephone number, and email address. • A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law. • A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notification is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the exclusive right that is allegedly infringed. Notices that do not comply with these requirements may not receive a response.
Upon receiving a valid DMCA takedown notice, TorrentClaw will: • Remove the identified metadata from search engine indexes (via noindex directives). • Exclude the identified content from our sitemaps. • Flag the content internally to prevent re-indexing. Please note that TorrentClaw does not host files — we can only remove metadata and search index references from our platform.
If you believe that material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice to our designated agent containing: • Your physical or electronic signature. • Identification of the material that was removed and the location at which it appeared before removal. • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification. • Your name, address, telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district and will accept service of process from the person who submitted the takedown notice. Upon receipt of a valid counter-notice, we may restore the removed material within 10-14 business days unless the copyright owner files a court action.
TorrentClaw maintains a policy of terminating access for users or content sources that are the subject of repeated valid DMCA takedown notices, in accordance with 17 U.S.C. § 512(i).
Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that material was removed or disabled by mistake, may be subject to liability for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees. Please ensure that your takedown request is accurate and made in good faith before submitting.
